How does therapy work?
In my practice we will use a variety techniques to help you reach your goals. I collaborate with each client on a clear treatment goal and together we will work towards that.
I am trained in a variety of modalities so that we can pick an approach that's tailored for you. Some of the modalities I use include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR and therapy based in Feminist + Queer theory.
