How does therapy work?
In this practice we will use a variety techniques to help you reach your goals. We collaborate with each client on a clear treatment goal and together work towards acheiving those goals in a collobarative and affirmative way.
Modalities
Both Sierra and Marissa are trained in a variety of modalities so that we can pick an approach that's tailored for you. Some of the modalities we use include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR and therapy based in Feminist + Queer theory.
